Wii U Connected to Internet But Won't Load Webpages, Netflix, etc.
I've had my Wii U for over a year now and have not had any problems with it until now. All of the sudden, a couple of days ago, it won't load Netflix movies or load webpages on the Web Browser. I've tried disconnecting from the Wi-Fi and reconnecting, which it does. The connection test says I'm connected to the internet. I go back to the Internet Browser, and it still won't load webpages. Just sits there. I get no error code whatsoever. I've tried all kinds of fixes of connecting manually, adding 10 to the IP address, using the Google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Even allowed tech support from Nintendo take control of my screen on laptop to take down firewalls and what not on my router, and still, nothing. Anybody else have this problem and have you been able to fix it?
Error Code 105-3013
Every attempt to play Hyrule Warriors ends in this error code appearing. 105-3013
It finishes downloading the update, then it barely begins to install before it pops up with the error code.
Tried everything I could think of:
- Made 1.7 GB of free space on system memory.
- Power cycled the internet.
- Hard reset the Wii U.
- Ejected and put the disc back in.
- Deleted the Update data manually in the download manager.
- Re-configured the internet connection.
The weird part is, I ran this game last night and it worked like a charm.
It also says the update is 16 MB?
I have no idea what's wrong, but I'm apparently the only one in my friend group who is hitting this error. Any ideas?!
Can't update my WiiU Deluxe
Hello,
I can not update my Wii U Deluxe to the latest update.
It keeps reaching around 35-40% while downloading, then gives me Error Code 108-0068
According to the guide on support.nintendo.com it might work if I tried resuming, but it would not move it keeps giving the same error.
Another solution was to delete the uncomplete update files and update again, but there was no option to delete it like other downloads.
So in the end I erased everything, wiped, and started again hoping that a clean installation will take place, but ended up with the same result. ;/
Any ideas?
Hypothetical case - Hard drive fails... Can I download again the games?
Hello everyone!
I'm thinking buy an external hard drive to my WiiU, but, what happens if the hard drive fails in some moment of time?, can I download again the games from eShop into a new hard drive?
Thanks
I think my external HDD crashed
SO I was in the middle of a battle in Smash Bros a week or so ago and the TV screen went black. I waited a bit and tried to hard boot the machine but it wouldn't boot properly. Sometimes it would show screen output but it would never get as far as the Wii U home menu. I tried various things and realized when I unplugged my external HDD it booted up fine which was concerning as I have a lot saved on there. I tried plugging the HDD into my PC and my PC recognizes the drive. I did some research and found out that I needed a Y splitter for my HDD which I went and bought. I connected it and it still doesn't work.
On a whim I plugged the HDD into my PC formatted the remaining space on the drive (NTFS). Now my Wii U boots with the HDD in but it shows no data on it and asks me if I want to format the drive. I am at a loss at this point, I have a ton of save data on there and really don't want to format it unless I have to.
On a random note I also recently got a USB to ethernet adapter, around the same time I got smash. In my initial troubleshooting I disconnected it completely and the console did work with it plugged in and not the HDD.
Thoughts?
It is a Seagate 1TB btw.
Also I have had and been using this same Wii U and HDD since I got it on release day.
(There is an 80+ hour Xenoblade Chronicles save I moved to this HDD from my Wii)
how to unlink account from Wii U if you dont own same system

Error code 150-2031

Unusual error codes with SSB (150-3352 or 162-3185)
I am having a strange problem with the WiiU since attempting to install the on-disc update for SSB. The update crashed at about 10% with error code 162-3185, insisting that the "Wii U Gamepad cannot connect", even though the gamepad was being used at the time. Multiple tries: Same response. The WiiU pad has some questionable communication, though it does largely work. It can no longer turn on the console remotely, but once both are turned on manually, things run smoothly.
Turning on the system in general also now causes error code 150-3352. It searches for internet connection on start, finds nothing, and when I attempt to go to system settings via that error dialog box or manuaully via the WiiU menu, the console errors out and needs to be reset.
Either way, the system cannot connect to the internet, or even access system settings. In addition, SSB is unplayable....
If anyone has any advice, It would be most appreciated!
Deadly GC Controller and Wii U adapter
Ok this is a really wierd question and sorry if it comes off as a really dumb one
I have this GC controller that I marked as the "death controller"
It was a neat spiderman controller and I lent it to a friend and upon return it was never the same again(my venom controller meet the fate of my brothers foot squishing the stick, RIP)
All it does now is shut off my GC or Wii
But now that I have a GC adapter for my Wii U
I'm curious about the result if I plugged in my death controller
But I'm scared that it might do damage to the adapter or even worse, the Wii U itself
Does any one knw how to help with error code 160-2719
I just got this error code 160-2719. The system tells me to press and hold the power button down for four seconds. Once its all turned off i turn it back on and this error pops up. Cant access anything.
amiibo's online in super smash bros.
Will super smash bros. support online battles with amiibos in the future? I bought two thinking that i could fight with them online -_- my friends wanted to do the same so we could train our amiibos have them go at it online, we all live in other states so online is very important to our group. Also does anyone know if there is a way to contact nintendo for requesting something like this?
Question about repaired Wii U
I just got my gamepad and cord's and a different Wii U console back from Nintendo, they already did a system transfer over to the other console. I was wondering if I still purchase a game on the eshop with the different model number console that I would still get the digital deluxe points since nintendo did the tranfer or do I need to do something first? Also how can I check to my warranty on my Wii U?
Wii U powering up problems after Nov 10 2014 System update
Noticed this problem in the last week since the latest system update (nov 10) was installed...
If the Wii U has been powered off for a few minutes, and you try to start it by using either the power button on the console, or by using the power button on the Wii u Gamepad, then Gamepad powers up, and the Wii u starts to power up but sort of hangs and the TV screen remains black, but the blue power light on the front of the console indicates that it is powered on.. within a few seconds we get a message on the Wii U Gamepad that says "Could not connect to the Wii U console. Please move the Wii u Gamepad closer to the console. Then turn the controllers power off and on again"
Powering the controller on and off doesn't seem to make a difference. Ultimately I have to hold down the power button on the console and force a shutdown. If i now try to power the unit on again, everything works as expected and we are able to play games as usual. Again, if the system is powered off for more than a few minutes, we seem to have to do this exercise all over again to get it running. Are there any known issues with the latest system update? It just seems weird that we've had no problems since we bought the unit back in September and now suddenly its acting up since the system got updated.
I've tried all of the other obvious trouble shooting (moving the console away from tv, Wi-fi, etc) with no real results.
Anyone else had something similar happen and have a work around? or perhaps there is a way to uninstall the latest system update?
Smash Brothers Wii U- Wario's Bike Frame Rate Issue
So I have a consistent Frame Rate Jump every time Wario takes out his bike. So far I've seen it on the Ultimate Challenge Co-Op Event. I'm going to check today if it's always the case in regular smash games, although I'm pretty sure its the same across the board in other modes. It's very jarring in the middle of a match. The frame jumps for like a Second, everytime he takes it out, and when it blows up the frame jumps as well.
Anyone else have the issue as well?
-Steve
The Wii emulation only displays 2 colors
The Wii-U works fine but when I put in a Wii disk and run the Wii console, all the colors are purple and green. One color is gone. Is this a hardware issue of is there a software or rest solution?
Can I use my old wiimote(No motion plus)directly on Wiiu?
Or do I have to purchase a external motionplus?
Infinity Freezes Console Loading Disney Infinity News (Error 170-0001)
Hello all.
Looking for help with this issue: When attempting to load the Infinity game, after many of the screens are accessed successfully, with version 1.3.0 of Infinity, the menu appears where you can select either "Toy Box" or "Options", but on the bottom left hand corner, there is a status message where the system indicates that it is attempting to load Disney Infinity News. The console beeps and freezes and cannot be recovered without a cold boot (powering off the console).
While troubleshooting, if the console is not connected to the internet, this error does not occur. The player is able to go into the game and do non-online gaming. I believe the player is also able to do online gaming if the internet connection is restored after the Toy Box menu was chosen (and the game is past where it would attempt to load Disney Infinity News).
For on attempt to troubleshoot the problem, we played offline for a bit and then returned to that menu screen where it was freezing. We attached to the internet via the wireless network (turned on the router) and the system again froze with the buzzing sound with the satus of loading Disney Infinity News.

Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this issue? Is there a way to back down the software from Infinity Version 1.3.0 and see if it is the version of Infinity that is causing the glitch? (Sorry, I am a bit of a newbie with backing down versions on the Wii U console.)
Any other thoughts would be appreciated!
btw: called Nintendo Support today during their business hours and they indicated they are extremely busy. Also tried searching for this error code (170-001) and it was not found on their sites. I was a bit disappointed in that. Also thought support could do better by calling you back perhaps once your place in line is up for those that would prefer to do that. Maybe that is a way they could improve their customer service and help the consumer. Their system did indicate to try this location, so I am here because of that so I find that to be a positive in how they are handling customer service. (I don't want my comments to be all negative...)
Thanks for any help, all!
Peace, love, happiness and good gaming,
The Muse

Wii U YouTube glitch
Has anyone else had trouble with their YouTube app in the last weeks? Mine keeps popping up the search box ALL THE TIME. It won't stop. It won't continually play videos anymore because the search keeps popping up while the pad is just sitting there. Other times the words "No videos are available" are stuck on the screen while videos play. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app with no luck. There is a similar problem with Netflix too. Am I alone?
Error code 160-4711
Hi, recently I transfer all my data and games from my old 16gb USB to a new one with 64gb. The transfer finish without trouble, but when I try to play any game or start any app my Wii U shows me an error with the code 160-4711.
I don't know what to do with that. Please help me to solve that problem and excuse me for my bad English D:
