Error code 150-1031 on multiple games (everyone read!)
Hello everyone,
I've bought and owned every Nintendo system since the Origional NES with my hard earned money as my parents wouldn't buy video games for me. So yea I'm a Nintendo fan boy. But if they are going to screw people over because of poor hardware and design, I'll stand in line and watch them burn!
I'm now getting this error on AC3, Batman Armored edition, Nintendo Land, SuperMario U, and just now on a brand new Pikmen 3. This is a hardware problem on Nintendo's side and they need to fix it.
I live and work in Silicon Vally, CA, USA and I've had several table lunch discussions about this issue of Nintendo pushing this back onto developers saying its their fault. Well fact of the matter is Nintendo is using a none standard disk format they are responsible for. The fact that they are trying to cover this up by not acknowledging its a basic level machine code is preposterous and stupid on their part.
All my games are in perfect NEW condition and have only been played a couple of times each. Pikmen 3 just got opened today 8/9/2013. My batman disk has only been in the system once to play for an hour and now not working.
Looking at the increase of the number of reports for this specific error in the last year, It looks like the level of this error has reached over 5000 people in just the USA alone and thats through just casual sorting of google searches. If these errors continue to increase its showing a design flaw in the WiiU and Nintendo will be open to a very large class action lawsuit.
So everyone at this point needs to file a case with Nintendo, get the case number, and if Nintendo doesn't fix this issue and it continues, I'll be the first to sign up for the lawsuit.

Please tell your parent company, that if this goes big, its going to be the last nail in the Nintendo console coffin. As Nintendo never has top hardware specs, but they have always had rock solid systems till now. Nintendo can't afford to pull a Microsoft by releasing buggy hardware. This needs to be addressed honorably and respectfully.

Wii U not finding my WIFI
Hi,
Trying to setup my new Wii U, and the system is not detecting my WIFI network. It's finding other ones around, but not my own one for some reason. I have Virgin Broadband in the UK.

Error Code 150-1031
We have received 3 new games; all three have give us these 3 error code 150-1031 (the unreadable disk). It's very frustrating since the games are spotless; load up and start playing and then keep popping up this error; if you put the game back in it plays for a few minutes from where you left off. But, then it pops up again. It can't be every disk is the cause, it has to be something in the system. Please help!!!!

Very weird Wii U startup & broken Gamepad?
So about a month and a half ago, I broke the screen on my gamepad. it was only a part of the screen that wasn't visible anymore, and everything else worked fine, so I decided to get it repaired in the future and continue using it for the time being. However, holding the gamepad tightly caused the the crack to spread across the screen and make the problem worse, though it otherwise still worked fine. Everything was ok with the system until today, when I arrived at a vacation house and had brought my Wii U on the plane with me. I made sure to keep the system and gamepad padded in the suitcase so that they wouldn't be damaged, but when i connected everything to the TV and powered the console on, the image did not show up on the TV, but it did on the gamepad. The screen had obviously gotten somewhat worse over the flight, though I could just barely see some things. The system menu music played on the gamepad, not on the TV, and I got a message which said something involving "Hold the POWER button for at least 10(?) seconds", and some more text that I couldn't read. Not knowing what the problem was at all, I held the power button on the console for 30 seconds, just to be safe, and then powered it back on. For some reason, the entire gamepad screen was now invisible, and i couldn't see anything. I carefully pressed some buttons to try to figure out what was going on, and judging by some sound effects I could hear, it seemed like some sort of menu that doesn't normally show up on startup. the only controls that i could tell were doing anything were A and both control sticks. There were about two or three "options" that i could hear myself selecting between with the control stick, and I selected one with A, which took me to a screen with two options. I imagine they may have been something like "Cancel" and "OK". I thought, maybe it was the User selection screen, since it had 3 selections (the amount of users on my system) and was playing the system menu music, but none of the users have passwords, so it should have taken me to the system menu after selecting a user. I just powered off the console for now, but any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!

Error Code 108-0035 problems
I've been trying to download Disney Infinity 1.0 for a few days now. My internet is quite slow, so the download takes about a full day to finish. The first day I tried somehow the data got corrupted, could have been from power fluctuation since there were some thunderstorms nearby. Second I got the error code 108-0035 which is for a disconnected external drive, which is what I'm trying to download on. No matter what I did my Wii would not resume the download, even though in my setting the device was showing up. It was fairly early in the download so I gave up, deleted the data and started over from scratch... again. This time I had a bit more luck, the download was moving smoothly, every once in a while I'd get a disconnection from internet error, but was fixed immediately by viewing error and then pressing B. But now here I am, literally minutes from finished the download at 96% when I get the errorcode again, and am once again unable to figure out how to continue my download. Please keep in mind that I believed this download would have been done yesterday, so I have already invested $40 in accessories and my kids keep asking me when they can play. Cant access system settings
Ive been forced to sell my wii u, as much as i dont want to, i just dont use it enough to warrant it sitting on my setup.
Anyhow, i thought it would be sensible to factory reset, but in the last time ive used my wii u, ive changed ISP, so my wifi settings have messed up.
It prompted me to set up a new network, but when i tryed to access the settings to reset, i also could not access settings to change wifi network.
I tried to load a game, that froze. i tried to load miiverse, froze.
My system is messed up, ive tried trouble shooting everything too no avail.
any ideas?? im stumped.

Wii U and 3DS suddenly unable to connect to wifi
So, I left on a trip, leaving both systems home. I came back, and neither could connect to, or even find my wifi. Strangely, it is only my nintendo consoles that can't seem to connect. When I try to manually connect or use my previous connection settings, I get a message saying it can't connect with the Error Code: 103-1606. I could't find this error in the customer support page. My tablet and ipod work just fine. I've been looking online for all kinds of solutions, but no luck so far. Can anyone help me out?

Error 160-0103, Wii U totally BRICKED - ALL Wii U games Don't Work!

I would like to report a problem and request a solution.
Since last Monday, after download and update of indie games Rush and Toki Tori 2+, I can't play anymore none of my wii u games.
Every time that I try to open a software, anyone game from Wii U memory or USB external pen drive, even CD media game, I have BLACK SCREEN ERROR 160-0103.
I've tried to solve the problem uninstalling and reinstalling all the games, but it is not working. The problem occurs with all softwares of all users.
Only the tools Friends List, Miiverse, Nintendo Eshop, Internet, Nintendo TVii, Notifications and Downloads are working. The links Health and Security, Parental Control, Wii U Chat, Configurations, Mii Creator are working too. Oddly, the "channel" Wii and all its games that I've transferred with transfer tool are working without problem as well.
At night when the problem occurred (in the last night from Monday to Tuesday), there was a storm. I thought that at the moment that Wii U was ''cleverly'' downloading contents Rush and update of Tori Toki 2+) by wifi connection, maybe the connection had failed, because of this. Maybe the connection has become unstable and therefore automatically corrupted some files, I’m not sure.
We’ve spent about $3.000 by purchasing the console and a lot of games with 2 Nintendo Network IDs (list of our games above). Thus, we are afraid and unhappy to know that reports of this same problem have been occurring for more than six months, by other users as well, and, however, there is no update for this so far.
Many users report that the problem could have been caused by Smash Bross game. Nevertheless, we never had, neither played this game.
So, we request the resolution of this problem by the Nintendo.
We look forward to your guidance on the procedures for resolution.

Wii U won't find my Wifi???
Our Wii U was connected to our wifi just fine. Then one day it just stopped working (nothing was done to the router or anything). So I went to reconnect and a bunch of surrounding connections come up, but mine doesn't even show up now. I've tried putting it in manually and that still doesn't work (But then again our security is "WPA/WPA2" and that's not an option to choose from? I don't know anything about this kind of technology). Our Wii U hasn't been connected to the internet in months. We've tried unplugging it for the night, rebooting the router, moving the Wii U closer to the router, removing the battery, and tried it manually like I said. The error code is 103-1606. It shouldn't be a problem with the router because we have around 8 other devices connected to it. I can't connect to any other surrounding wifis to see if that works because they're all protected. Our guest unprotected wifi does come up, but the Wii U is unable to connect to it. I've read to change the channel to 1 or 11 and I know how to do that, but I've never done it before and I don't want it to screw up the wifi on all the other devices?? I don't really want to call Nintendo because that's such a hassle but if that's the only thing I can do then I will. I'm also a technology ignorant 18 year old girl that doesn't know what she's doing. If you can try to help, thanks.

Then this problem shows up. It loads the pop up you get when verify your stuff, but the problem is nothing is clickable. I need to press next in the bottom right corner but its not clickable. Infact nothing in the page?? How do I get passed this :c!! Ask if u need more info!

Weird problem with my Wii U and Mario Party 10
Basically whenever I play party mode and a mini game pops up it'll be the same mini game every single time I start up a game. And when it gets to the screen where you press A to show you're ready, the game just freezes. It does this every single time and I'm just sick of it. The very first time I turned the game on I got through 1 party mode game and one amiibo game okay. Then tried to play party mode again and it started up. This is when I exchanged the game for a new copy, brought it home and have the same problem. I deleted the amiibo history from my wiiu, deleted the Mario Party 10 files on my Wii U, made sure it was updated and everything. I love Mario Party and own every single one excluding 3 (still searching for a good price) so I'm gonna be bummed as [Edited] if this isn't gonna be fixed soon. I used a Yoshi amiibo with it. I have the Mario one as well but haven't used it yet in chance it might screw it up more.

Profile Removal
My roommate recently got a WiiU for us all to play. At the time of purchase, my other roommate's girlfriend (at the time) had created a Nintendo ID and added her Mii and account to our WiiU. Skip ahead a month later when my roommate and his girlfriend break up. Well, now our WiiU still has her account on there and we can't seem to get rid of it.
Is there something I'm missing in removing it? Or do I have to have her password to do so? She refuses to give us her password so that option is viable.

Having problems with opening ports.
Long story short: I got a wii u and a LAN Adapter, i connected too miiverse and the internet browser which worked fine but when i tried to play Super Smash Bros Wii U online i got the 118-0516 error. I looked it up and it wants me to open some ports 1- 65535 to be exact. " 4. Enter the starting port and the ending port required for the console being used. For titles published by Nintendo, you will need to forward UDP ports 1 through 65535. 5. Set the protocol to "UDP." "
I tried to portforward these ports but i cant for some reason, it says "cant apply services to *WiiU-LAN-Adapter*" (*Gave my device that name) ((Rough translation from swedish)). So searched the internet for some answers and saw people saying that their routers cant open all those ports at the same time and got the ports 80, 443, 6667, 12400, 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920 from a guy on one of the forums stating "thats the ports nintendo seems to be using", So this time i tried to only open these ports and it would actually let me open the ports but when i tried to connect online i got the same error message. I disabled the firewall in an desperate final attempt but to no use...
Basicly it seems impossible from my viewpoint but thats why i post this on the forums right?

Transferring Save Data Between Consoles
I currently own a Wii U that I share with several members of my household, each of which uses a distinct NNID and user account. I will be moving in a few months and have decided to leave the Wii U there and purchase a replacement. I'm aware that the games associated with my NNID will no longer be accessible on the origional console once I move my NNID to the replacement.
What I would like to do is transfer my save data off of the origional Wii U without compromising the save data of the other users on the console. I've read this support article detailing how to transfer data between consoles but unless I'm mistaken this will simply put all of my data onto my new console, which simply reverses the problem.
How can I go about moving my save data off of the console without compromising that of the other console's users?

Gamepad extremely short range
Hello,
Recently (within the last 2 weeks) I've noticed that my Gamepad has been having trouble staying connected to the console. Previously, I've been able to keep the two connected as far as about 30 feet away (even through walls). However, the connection has grown progressively worse, until as this morning my 3-year-old was not able to play without issues despite sitting directly next to the console (about 1-2 feet away).
Is anyone else experiencing this issue (or have experienced it in the past, with resolution)? I do not suspect damage to the pad as it's only lightly to moderately used. The only change within the last couple of weeks is that I've bought Super Mario 3D World and a 3rd-party dock for charging the gamepad and other controllers (I worry about the kids damaging the gamepad's power jack).
Any pointers or advice would be helpful. I'm a Software Engineer so I've already gone through a lot of troubleshooting (short of surveying the wireless signal strength and re-syncing the gamepad to the console).

Leaking Wii U Power Supply
My Wii U power supply started to leak a brown liquid from the box in the middle. I have never had something like this happen before. I have thrown the cord out because I don't think it was safe to use or safe to keep around. What would have caused this to happen?
No retailer sells replacement power supply cords for the Wii U, the cord that actually goes to the wall and into the Wii U (not the one for the game pad). How do I get a replacement?

Wii menu on Wii U
Using a Wii game requires using the Wii menu mode on the Wii U. While the Wii remote is working the cursor in the Wii menu constantly goes off screen and it is very difficult to get it into position to push the button to start the game.
Once in the game the Wii remote works fine. This is highly annoying.
